CSS Corp clinches IBM The Great Mind Challenge for Business Award
IBM has bestowed CSS Corp with prestigious The Great Mind Challenge for Business Award for its "Sametime Implementation" at the recently conducted IBM Software Universe 2009 in Mumbai. The annual award recognizes visionary IBM India clients who have successfully implemented IBM software solutions to create exceptional business value. This also marked the very first time that IBM had extended this award to enterprises.
Implemented by CSS Corp to act as a unified communication and collaborative tool for its 4500+ employees worldwide, the Sametime application was recognized for being the most innovative collaboration solution. It also encompassed Sametime integration with the company's Open Source chat server, CSS Corp Botnie for unified access to the enterprise resources using Sametime client for desktop and mobile, an audio and video conference for internal office meetings and communications, as well as Sametime integration with intranet portals and integration with Lotus Quickr.
The Great Mind Challenge (TGMC) is a Nation-wide Software Development contest conducted by the IBM Academic Initiative Team in India. This contest focuses on enabling Technical institutes to nurture students and grooming them to become part of a competitive workforce by arming them with market ready skills.
