Software Magazine Ranks Cybernet-SlashSupport as One of the World's Largest Software Companies for the Third Year

SAN JOSE, Calif. (BUSINESS WIRE) Cybernet-SlashSupport, a leading provider of technology operations management and support services, today announced its inclusion on the Software Magazine's Software 500 ranking of the world's largest software and service providers.

The Software 500, now in its 25th year, is a revenue-based ranking of the world's largest software and services suppliers targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers and business managers involved in software and services purchasing.

"CSS is delighted to have made the Software 500 list once again, and thank our clients and employees for making this possible," said CSS Chief Executive Officer Shiva Ramani. "We intend to continue to deliver outstanding value to our clients through process innovation and service excellence, and to offer our employees a work environment where they can excel and grow."

CSS recently announced a $25 million funding round led by Goldman Sachs and a new contract to provide remote IT infrastructure management services for Virgin America, the newest U.S.-based domestic airline. The fastest growing segment of IT services, the remote infrastructure and network management market will reach nearly $36 billion, with a compound annual growth rate of 32% by 2010, according to research firm Gartner.

"The 2007 Software 500 results show that growth in the software and services industry was healthy from 2006 to 2007 and continues to be dynamic with more than 98 new companies on the list this year for the first time," says John P. Desmond, editor of Software Magazine. "The top four business sectors this year are System Integration Services/IT Consulting, Application Development, Financial Applications and Security Tools/Systems."
